In this capacity I have assisted numerous residential clients in Connecticut, Westchester County, New York City and East Hampton with interior decorating projects. I meet with clients for an in-home consultations to discuss their preferences and make recommendations regarding appropriate fabrics, custom window treatments, furniture, reupholstery, accessories, color consults, and decorative painting options, and complete room makeovers to achieve their desired atmosphere and mood.

I started my career in the Better Sportswear Department at G. Fox in Hartford, CT. After going through the buying program, many hours were spent in the market researching. I then spent 8 years at Anne Taylor working in Boston, Chicago and New York City. Eventually covering the Tri-state area as district manager. I subsequently opened JV Junction, a children's clothing shop in Greenwich Connecticut specializing in 100% cotton clothing. I designed collections for children and dealt exclusively with the manufacturers. After closing my shop, I became store manager of the flagship store for Workbench on Park Avenue in New York City - 25,000 sq. feet of home furnishings. This is where I realized the natural transition for me from ready to wear to home furnishings was an appropriate decision. I went on to join Persnickety in Rye, NY. After working 4 years closely with clients at in-home consultations, developing into custom projects, I was now ready to open my own interior decorating business.

I've had a passion for fabrics and color since my childhood days in England, spending many hours searching through fabrics at the markets. I'm so grateful to be working on a daily basis pursuing my love for color and design. A native of the West Midlands, England, I have lived in America since the 70's.
